Dear Bridges,

January, 1937.
Following upon our talk here on the 7th
We,
about the Kai Tak Aerodrome, Hong Kong, it is approved that the Colonial office should be represented at the meeting which, in your letter of the 4th of January (8.32267/2) you said you were arranging for 11.0 a.m. on the 13th of January however, agreed that the purpose of this meeting should be to discuss the general question of the terms of provision of land for Royal Air Force requirements in Hong Kong.
We think it may be convenient if we circulated beforehand a memorandum on the general question of the terms on which lands in Hong Kong are made available for the Air Ministry, and we will have this prepared for consideration at the meeting.
